I was reading about them over on AT and came across this link that I thought some of you may want to read as well.

My new pack was the same way. They had a frosty look to them and the fit was way tighter than normal. I have had issues with the nock being so tight on the string as well that the nock pulls out of the arrow when taking them off the string. I never had those issues when Doubletake was making and selling them. I guess when these 6 I have now are gone, Ill either go to Lumenok or maybe another good option will be out. I will say that I still could see the light clearly though when it went through that doe the other day.

I had to order a new set for this year, but I had no problems with fitment or functionality on mine. They did have the frosty look, compared to the older ones, but I thought I would try wiping them down with a wet dishrag and the frosty disappeared and they are the same clear as the originals. My guess is it is some type of film that is leftover from the manufacturing process.
