I usually replace my blades. I drilled a small hole in my work bench to allow the center pin to be punched out. I took 2 roofing nails and nailed the blades to the work bench so the broadhead wouldn't move. Then i had to grind a punch down to fit the hole. Get the pin out, put new blades in and tap the pin back in. I have the new chisel tip now and I believe I saw they replaced the pin with a screw which will be much easier to mess with.

Lord, for that much trouble, I would just pitch them away or probably, not use them to start with.

If the blades aren't broke they will be reused. I've killed several deer with the same rage.

I inspect them and yes i have sharpened a couple of them with a miniature file i keep for such purposes. Some of them are too badly damaged to do that. Dicks sporting goods carries the replacement end tips and blades. These require a 1/20 of a hex head which i happen to have in my gun smith set.
