all the advice about tuning is very good advice. that said I have like 5 or 6 different kinds of broadheads I shot before I had my bow tuned and everyone was low right but a rage it hit with the field points. I know alot don't like rages but they did shoot out of a untuned bow with same POI

Now that season has begun, you should be able to get it to the shop during the week and have it back that day, no more than a couple days. Get it tuned and alot of your headaches will be over.

Tuning your bow is generally required to ensure that fixed blade broadheads will fly approximately the same as field points. The planing surfaces on a fixed blade will magnify any flaws in arrow flight that a field point will forgive.
You can also buy mechanical broadheads, which will pretty much fly like a field point right out of the box. It sounds like you've already dropped some heavy coin on broadheads at this point, though, so if you have the patience, and a good shop to go to, get that tuning done. It will benefit you all around.

If that's what matters to you then go with them. Your bow though isn't shooting as good as it could, slower, louder, harder on everything from the fighting within itself. It also isn't flying the same at different distances and probably drastically different from an elevated position. Things could be better and those other heads are proof of it.

Man, I get on to my old man every yr. He doesnt even practice shooting his. Just grabs it and thinks its on from whenever he bought it. I trully believe its worth it to the animal to know what every piece of equipment will do.
Your bow needs to be paper tuned. I am sure your nock point will have to be moved also. If u lived around here I could tune ir for you. Its a quick fix if u can take it somewhere.
