How T Tag A Deer

I just turned 65 and qualified for a "senior sportsman" liscense type 167. Do I need to attach this to a deer kill? Or the bigger question is how do I tag a deer?

I have a sportsmans lisence and don't get my 1st permenant tag untill I check in my 1st kill.I do feel a little better printing out my 1st kill tag.

My "memory" is that you are not issued a temporary kill tag with that Type 167 license. If that is correct, you are not require to tag your FIRST animal (or calendar day's animals). T
Take the animal(s) to a check station or check them in online. When you check the first animal in, you will be given (or print out) a permanent harvest tag for the animal you checked in, and a temporary kill tag to use the next day.
Once you get the first tag, you are required to invalidate the tag by putting in the required information before moving or field dressing the animal. You are not required to attach the tag to the animal.
