The top pic is white oaks?

Looks pretty good. That little strip will be awesome when the stuff on the sides gets bigger.

The top.photo is another 52 ac. Field that was planted in white oak and shumards. The left hand side of the photo was set aside as a quail field and managed to quail unlimited guidelines. Natural forbes growing at this time but plans underway to covert to a lespidezia new strained study next spring. Currently we have a total of 62500 coveys on a 254 ac. Farm. That strip in the top photo will not be tilled again for another 5couple years only hogged once a year. The.plan is to move over 30 feet each year and repeat.

Dont take offense, but in those pics, looks like a weedy field, hard to see any trees, other than the woods on the sides.

Wow! Looks like the place i hunt! Those rag weeds can be a killer. The tall weeds will funnel deer to you. Also bush hog trails from the woods to the plot! They will use it like a highway!

Hardins creek is a dangerous place, most people ain't heard of it. If you've never been there you'd be wise to just let it be. The Cherokees wouldn't even dip their toes in it.

the trees will be much better if they have to grow through a weedy field, this will eliminate many of the branches that grow low to the ground, you will be well pleased in a few more years

LOL. I hunt in those hills behind that stand in the picture. Once the leafs are off you'll probably be able to see that stand from hardins creek road.
