Thats called a tomatillo and some other common names. Physalis philadelphica is the latin name.

Turns out they are tomatillos AKA ground cherry or husk tomatoes. And they are great for Mexican green salsa dishes!

Just don't confuse it with Jimson weed, those are deadly. But their pods have spikes.
