If a TN resident buys a new, never before registered boat out of state and brings it to TN, how long is the grace period to pay the taxes on it and get it registered?

If it requires registration, it can't be on the water until it is registered. There are no requirements from us on how long it takes-it just can't be used until the registration is done.
The taxes would be a Dept. of Revenue issue. I have no idea if there is a grace period.
