Put in some plots Saturday afternoon and the guy was telling me that the deer tear these things up, but he didnt know what it was either. I told him, I bet I know some guys that do!!! Inside the fruit looks just like an apple.

Yep double checked, "dwarf gourmet pear" thick skin very sweet, and wow, 26.00 each before shipping.

Wow, that's awesome. There were several of these trees growing at random places on this old farm. This tree pictured had hundreds of fruit on it. Might be a good variety to have.
