I have a son who is sixteen, he will turn seventeen at the end of November this year. I am not sure what license he will need this year. He hunts whitetail deer with bow,rifle and muzzleloader. I know he can participate in the first county youth hunt but not the one in january. He has also been drawn for the LBL youth hunt. Any help would be appreciated...Thank You

Once he turned 16 he will need the adult licenses (unless that happens during the license year after purchasing the Jr. Hunt/Fish/Trap). Since he turned 16 last Nov., he will either need the Type 004 Annual Sportsman license, or the Types 001,009,010,011 to cover all of those weapons. He will also need the Type 94 (as he did as a juvenile) to participate in the rifle antlerless hunts.
I would suggest getting in touch with LBL on their hunt as i don't know if they have different eligibility criteria. I suspect he will need the LBL permit to hunt.
