What they are telling us it was all over a video, they have been saying that ever since it started.

Well think about it a minute.

What they really are telling us is that the people over there are so stupid they riot, burn, attack and kill over a 2 minute internet video.

John Lennon of the Beatles once said that they were more popular than Jesus. Christians did NOT riot, burn, attack and kill over that. Some stoped listening to the Beatles and some broke their records publicly but that was it. They didn't attack, burn any British embassy and kill the British ambassador.

Do any of you really think that Obama and his people want us to believe that all thsoe people over there are that stupid?? He and his people would NEVER publicly say so, remember for the last 4 years all Obama has done is prise them over there and tried to be their friend.

Maybe Obama thinks the American people are stuipd enough to belive what he and his people tells us.

My yahoo mail account has those "top stories" links at the top.

When they had "riots due to video" about the killings and attacks in each country, I knew something was fishy.

The media is so in the tank for this admin its a frightening situation. Massive coverup on a continuing basis.

Notice how scandal doesn't get much traction anymore? The media just screams "La la la la la! " and drowns out legitimate criticism.

And if it was about the video (which I don't think they really need a reason to get violent), what will the "We Killed Osama" movie that Obama is pushing do to incite them? Hmmmm?

We may never know just what is the total truth on many matters regarding the Obama Presidency, but those who seek it, are going to know a heck of lot more than those who do nothing more than defend Obama no matter what. I just try to keep in mind that a coin has 3 sides, and it's easy to be mislead if you only see or hear 1 side. For me, the 3rd side of this coin has been getting much news information from foreign news agencies, such as coming out of Great Britain and Israeli news agencies.

Seemingly half the people simply "hear" what they want to hear and are "oppositional" to something they don't want to consider, without regard to what's really the truth. Not necessarily anything to do with politics, just human nature with a large segment of people, but a large enough segment that Obama was elected in 2008 having had no vetting. Being presented with 1 side of coin, and seeing/hearing what's wanted, many people are just not going to turn that coin over the see something totally different. They're "happy" with what they "want" to hear, and find it easier to attack an opposing messenger than to really consider an opposing message.

But then, when the Republicans only offered more of the same old problems and people who helped create those problems with John McCain, it's a little easier to see how Obama was elected in 2008. But that said, it SHOULD be a totally different ball game now with the 2012 Presidential election.

We definitely wanted and needed a CHANGE very badly in 2008, so to many, it was a choice of more of the same or a real change with Obama. Retrospectively, we failed to question what kind of "change" Obama would bring, and assumed wrongly most of his change would be for the better. We now face a harsh reality of a failed Presidency which still about half the nation doesn't want to admit.

Am saying "failed" in terms of Obama largely not delivering on his promises for which he was elected, and in terms of Obama's decisions making most measurable economic items worse. While Obama is quick to blame his economic shortcomings on his predecessor, let us not forget that Obama was one of 100 senators who took control of the Senate in 2006, coupled with democratic control of Congress in 2006 ---- and the evidence shows democratic control of both congressional houses had more to do with economic downturn in 2007 & 2008 than from George Bush being the President. But with Obama elected President in 2008, for two years, Obama had both congressional houses under democratic control, getting everything he wanted passed thru congress while totally locking out any republican opposition.

In fact, congressional republicans, in Obama's own words were sent "to the back of the bus", and the democrats had total control of both houses of congress for a full 4 years (the last 2 under Bush, the first 2 under Obama). Obama continues to have a democratic majority control of the Senate and the executive branch (2 of the 3 controlling entities), so as of now, democrats have been in control of our economy for 6 years. Any "mess" Obama inherited, it came from himself as a senator, and mostly from the democrats being in control for a full 2 years before Obama assumed the Presidency. In fact, the Bush Economy did relatively well until the democrats took control of congress in 2006. THIS is Obama's "change", it began in 2006, and it's been for the worst.

Many people WANT to believe in Obama, and continue to avoid any consideration that Obama might not be the man they assumed. Makes it very easy for Obama to continue to pull the wool over their eyes with a little charisma, class-warfare and blaming other entities for the problems Obama has made worse rather than improve.

Last night I had dinner with some folks, one of whom is a rabid Obama supporter. He made the comment about what a good job Obama is doing, especially with Fox News trying to destroy him. Of course, this fellow has never listened to anything on Fox News, and is just repeating what he's heard from other Obama-worshipping friends, as they promote hatred towards any opposing viewpoints. (Still can't figure out the bumper sticker on one of these folk's cars that says "Co-Exist", and another who has "Celebrate Diversity", since these people are absolutely filled with hatred towards not just opposing views, but unknown-to-them views they've refused to even listen to or consider.)

I made the comment that I believe Valerie Jarrett is more the acting President than Obama. The rabid Obama supporter had never heard of Valerie Jarrett, quickly left the room to "google" her name, then came back to say she was just one of Obama's many advisors and a smart President should have many advisors.

By the way, if you don't know much about Valerie Jarrett . . . . . .
http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/08/obamas_strange_dependence_on_valerie_jarrett.html

President Obama canceled the operation to kill Osama bin Laden three times before saying yes, because he got cold feet about the possible political harm to himself if the mission failed.

Instead of listening to advisors from the U.S. military, Defense, or even State,
Obama was acting on the advice of White House politico and close friend Valerie Jarrett.

Edward Klein, former foreign editor of Newsweek and editor of the New York Times Magazine for many years, describes Jarrett as "ground zero in the Obama operation." Klein ---- writes in detail about Jarrett opposing the raid on bin Laden. She told Obama not to take the political risk. . . . . . he listened to her, three times telling Special Operations not to take the risk to go after bin Laden.

No one outside Michelle has the access or power over Obama's decision-making like Jarrett does. . . . . . After work, Jarrett joins Obama at night in the Family Quarters . . . . . She goes on vacation with them.

Valerie Jarrett reflects Obama in many ways. . . . . . and became Mayor Richard Daley's deputy chief of staff . . . . . .
When Valerie Jarrett hired Michelle to work for Daley and befriended her, the Obamas gained access . . . . . Valerie knew everyone whom it was important to know . . . . . She gave Barack entrée and legitimacy. She financed and promoted his ambitions for national office.

Obama finally belonged. Not that Jarrett's record in Chicago was anything to be proud of. Jarrett was known for her corruption and incompetence. Daley finally had to fire her after a scandal erupted over her role in misuse of public funds in the city's substandard public housing. She went on to become CEO of Habitat Executive Services, pulling down $300,000 in salary and $550,000 in deferred compensation. Again, she managed a housing complex that was seized by government inspectors for slum conditions. The scandal didn't matter to Obama. The sordid corruption was all part of Jarrett's Chicago success story.

. . . . . Jarrett has no qualifications to be the principal advisor to the president of the United States. . . . . . She doesn't understand how the economy works, how the military works, how national security works. But she understands how Obama works.
The president turns to Valerie Jarrett for definitive advice on all these issues. She has given him terrible advice over and over, and still he turns to her.

Her true job is to make Obama feel proud of himself.
Obama relies on Jarrett to create the White House bubble he likes to live in, where his narcissism is stroked and his desire to do the big, left-wing thing is encouraged. Jarrett is the doorman. She runs access to the president. . . . . . she guards him from meeting with "critics and complainers who might deflate his ego." No one gets past Jarrett who has an incompatible point of view.

Jarrett pushed ObamaCare. At the beginning of Obama's presidency, there was pressure on Obama to focus on the economic crisis. Rahm Emanuel advised a small, bipartisan health care reform with popular items such as coverage for young adults -- to get it passed quickly and focus on the country's money problems. Jarrett urged the president to be true to his left-wing agenda. She was all for having Reid-Pelosi create the ObamaCare assault on the American health system and ramming it through on a one-party vote, using Chicago-style politics, while Obama crossed the country doing what he does best: make speeches. Obama liked Jarrett's idea. Emanuel is now out of the White House.

Jarrett pushed the Solyndra fiasco. Jarrett promoted Solyndra because one of her richest Chicago connections, billionaire George Kaiser, a top Obama bundler, had a 35% share in Solyndra. Kaiser visited the White House sixteen times.

Larry Summers, the director of the president's National Economic Council, warned Obama that the federal government should not get involved in venture capital of any sort. Summers understood that crony capitalism sabotages economic growth. Huge government funding distorts and destroys whatever market segment it touches, replacing economic decisions with political ones.

A member of Obama's finance committee warned the president that Solyndra was going bankrupt. But it is Obama and Valerie who see eye to eye, and they saw the value to Obama of rewarding his political cronies. It worked fine in Chicago. Larry Summers is now out of the White House.

Jarrett pushed Obama to take on the Catholic Church over contraception, arguing that it would appeal to single women (she was right) and that religious freedom isn't important (she was wrong). Bill Daley, who had replaced Rahm Emmanuel as chief of staff, argued against Obama pushing contraception on the Church and invited Archbishop Timothy Cardinal Dolan of New York to meet with a displeased Obama, who didn't appreciate hearing from the Church. Daley is now out of the White House.

Valerie Jarrett is the most powerful woman in Washington. She has guided the president's decisions on health care, the budget, the stimulus, the deficit, foreign affairs.

So when Jarrett told Obama that the mission to kill bin Laden was too politically risky, and to play it safe, it is entirely plausible to believe that the president listened to her. It is consistent with everything we know about Obama's dependence on her. . . . . . . Obama listened to her for four months, dithering and deciding no the first three times the military told him that the time to get bin Laden was now.

(But) . . . . . another worry won out. Obama was even more scared of the political fallout if voters learned he'd passed up the chance to get bin Laden. What decided him wasn't the national interest, but politics.

Very interesting to see how this one will play out.
