Bud found one in Lake City. FYI them are some nasty critters. Carry leprosy bacteria.

I've seen a dead one on Briley Pkwy by the I-24 overpass in Nashville and one dead on I-65 near White House.

We have more armadillos than possums around here. I saw 2 crossing Natchez Trace parkway on my way home Thursday night. They're moving North and East pretty fast. The first ones showed up around here around 1996-1998 and now we see them almost daily.

There was one killed on 153 in Hixson not too long ago, and I saw one hit on 27 close to Red Bank just a week or two ago.

They have been here a while but in the past year I have seen a huge explosion in number of road killed armadillos. I used to rarely or occasionally see one, but now it seems like almost every day depending on how much driving I do and sometimes 2 or 3 in a day. They were here for a while probably, but now they are really here in numbers.

Saw a dead one today on highway 149, in Palmyra, Montgomery county. Saw a dead one a month ago in the road in front of McDonald's at exit 11, I-24. I see them all the time on highway 79 near LBL in Stewart county. Never seen one alive though.

1 dead on the road in Seymour. Hate to hear that. I did not know Sever County had been invaded.
