Posted this before, but this particular one came out particularly good. Venison mixed 50/50 with grass fed Chuck, topped with homegrown tomatoes and peppers:

Carrots and squash cooked in wine, butter, honey and cardamom with roasted potatoes:

The venison I used this time did not have any fat added to it. Usually, if I use venison with fat added, I'll do a more dominate venison blend.

Two to four oz. of breakfast sausage added to a pound of deer makes a moist, tasty, and stay together meat loaf.

Yours looks awesome, I stay away from beef and fat, I get non GMO and glut free stuff lol, I add some cracker crumbs and olive oil or grape seed oil in my mix. it holds together well. Alos here is a trick my mom tought me. Take mashed potatos put all over the top and around the sides and cover with shredded cheese and bake it at 350. I got to ask her does she cook the meatloaf first. I dont think but will check.

I dont use any beef, strickly venison. I found if you add 2 tablespoons of lard before cooking the meat tends to be less dry. I use strickly venision too!
