Last year was highest if ever went. I have a 25 ft haul line and when I climbed my bow was swinging in the air next to a low limb. Got down and the limb was right at eye level.
I'm 6'1".
That was pretty high for a summit open shot. Needless to say the pucker factor was pretty high that day.

Bow - 18-24', gun 24-30'. I have 35' of rope on all of my climbers just in case.

i prefer to hunt between 20 and 25, but ill hunt what i can get. Had one spot last year i could only get maybe 12' up and it was a nasty hackberry at that..

im with u grow but all i use is 15' ladders and sitting on ground. i have killed way more off ground than i have in stand.
