Let's say Romney gets elected. Then what? Do you really think that a former MA governor will be hardcore enough to slash the Federal budge by the amount that is needed? No way!
Well, let's talk about this for a minute.
We don't need a President to slash the budget. That's not his job. Congress will and HAS slashed the budget (not enough, I'll admit). We just need a Senate who will pass it and a President that will sign it.
75% of the work has been done. It's just a handful of Socialist Democrats who are holding up the show. We're not asking for a revolutionary President who will "Charge" up Capital hill. We only want a President who will not stand in our way. A President who will not Kill 300+ people by arming Mexican Drug cartels and then blame it on American gun owners. A President who will not restrict our energy development while giving a Billion to Brazil for Oil exploration. A President who will not hold up 2000 Miles of Oil Pipeline for 100 Yards that cross an international border. A President who will not ram massive, 3000+ page financial and healthcare overhaul bills down our throats without ever reading them.
Romney is not some Titan of Political upheaval. He's no Joan of Arc and he's no Ronald Reagan.
He's just a man who will not stand in the way of those that are. He's a bandaid. A tourniquet.
He's also the only choice other than Obama.

They say between 10 and 17 million conservatives did NOT vote in 2008. That allowed Obama to win easy.
If you want Obama to win again then by all means stay home and encoruge others to stay home too.
I DID VOTE IN 2008! Held my nose while doing it, too. Even if I hadn't, McCain (Dole Jr.) carried Texas easily.

Conservatives and liberals do not win elections for candidates, undecided independents do. And Mitt Romney does not motivate independents, heck he barely motivates the base. It will be 4 more years of bammy. We should focus more on our Congress and House. That is where the changes can be made. They have the power. I think we put to much into our pres selection and not enough into the congress and the house of rep.

You mean the Senate and House.
US Congress = US Senate + US House of Representatives
