Management and employees at Ruger and Smith & Wesson have done pretty darn well under Obama. Their business is booming and their stocks are way up. If I had to guess, I'd wager that at least a few senior NRA executives probably own a few shares of Ruger or Smith & Wesson in their personal investment portfolios. I wish I was smart enough to buy some in 2008.
Kind of makes me wonder who they might be pulling for? A Romney win might slow the gun buying frenzy that they've enjoyed under Obama...

I would bet at least 40-50% of S&W employees voted for Obama and will again.

I'm not sure if my like for higher gun sales and more money would overcome my dislike for obama....

They may vote Dem for other reasons, but I'd bet higher gun sales isn't one of them. He is not good for firearms companies long-term. I would also go out on a limb and say that the heads of these companies are not voting for Obama. I know Kollitides won't.

Agreed. My comment was based on odds only. Odds are, based on Demographics, many people at S&W pulled the (D)umb lever.
