I'm betting Rush is right on the money. Teachers on strike making 76k a year turn down a 16% pay increase.
On Monday, teachers in Chicago went on strike after union and district officials failed to reach a contract agreement over issues like job security, health benefits and teacher evaluations. But talk show host Rush Limbaugh had another theory. According to Limbaugh, the teachers are striking for one reason - to help Obama get re-elected.
"The stupid question I asked was: 'Why are the teachers in Chicago going on strike?'" he said Monday.
"The answer is very simple: So Obama can solve it as a campaign issue. That's why they're on strike," he added.
"We know that the unions, Obama and Rahm Emanuel, the Democrats, are in bed with each other. So this, to me, I think it's a perfect setup."

Chicago public school teachers went on strike on Monday and one of the major issues behind the strike is a new system Chicago plans to use for evaluating public school teachers in which student improvement on standardized tests will count for 40 percent of a teacher’s evaluation. Until now, the evaluations of Chicago public school teachers have been based on what a Chicago Sun Times editorial called a “meaningless checklist.”

And, I suspect the kenyan has his goons pulling strings behind the curtain. No way the unions would strike now, unless It was orchestrated to benefit him somehow in the election.

Heard on the local news down here Chicago has a 40% drop out rate and 52% are not reading at a "basic" level.
Sounds to me like we have the next crop of MUY's. They will be coming for your stuff soon.
