Although it’s still early I don't see any indication that says he's 3.5. Having said that, he is a spectacular 2.5 year old if that’s what he turns out to be! Not sure if I’ve ever seen a 2.5 year old with 11 inch G-2’s. Like Wes mentioned, if he truly is 2.5 it will be a miracle if he makes it through the season assuming he moves like a typical 2.5 year old. If he does make it I can't wait to see what he turns into at 3.5.

IF he's only 2 1/2, you can be pretty assured he'll never live to become 3 1/2. And this could be the poster buck for high-grading of the best 2 1/2's. But knowing how easy it is to misjudge age during the summer, I'd speculate odds are he's more likely 3 1/2 than 2 1/2. Spectacular antlers regardless.
Yep

...so no I wouldnt let it walk on 55 acres in a heavily hunted area. My realistic expectations for this property are 2.5 or better. But I expect it will have range shifted by then anyway. I hope he range shifts about 5 miles to the west of your place steven..LOL Dang good deer for the area. That is too funny. I wonder where cecil hunts?
I would say about 5 miles to the west of Steven's place for starters. Sorry , couldn't resist. Dang good deer and does appear to be 2.5. Would love to see pics in a couple months.
