Permethrine—just don't get it on your skin!

Permethrin. You can typically find these two products in Tractor Supply, Bass Pro, your local hardware stores and some Wal-Marts. Spray your clothes the night before so it has time to dry and you will be all set the following day when you head to the field.

What these guys said. Your local CO-OP or Tractor Supply will have it. You can get the commercial grade version in a can or you can ask for the same stuff in a self mix style...in which you can get a whole lot more of it for a lot less $. Their equine specialists should know what you are asking about.

Then all you'd need is an empty spray bottle and water to dilute it and you're ready to rock.

When it dries, no scent. Premethrin and thermacell and you should be pretty much bug free. Premthrin isnt supposed to work on chiggers but i havent had any in 4 or 5 years since i started using it so i dont know

Sawyers Permetherine. Spray it on your clothes the night before the season and its good for 6 washes. Works great and odorless after it dries
