I have shot thunderhead 125s and muzzy 100g for years i bought some Jak Hammer SSI 1 1/4 in cut. Anyone used these they fly just like my field points in my new Bear bow.I was wondering about the blood trail also Thanks and keep them arrows flying.

If I were going to mechanicals I would want a wider cut.. 2" Swhackers for me

Depends on youre poundage you're. Shooting i have shot mechanicals at 50lb draw and it wasnt enough punch to open the blades i went back to muzzys but now i shoot sthe t3 made by G5 and at 65lbs draw and they work very very well

Good luck. I wouldn't change from fixed for ANY mechanical.
The reports of the Rage ones have been very positive though so once again....good luck.

In my opinion everything about a mechanical head is better other than two things. Price efficiency and penetration. Mechanicals do not last long therefore you will have to buy more. IF you shoot a bow that will have enough kinetic energy to punch that head through you will see bigger entrance and exit holes and bigger wound channels therefore you will get better blood trails leading to less deer lost. I shoot Grim Reapers and have never trailed one over 60 yards. I strongly recommend them if you have the right set up.

That broadhead, like every broadhead, is made to kill! It will do just fine! Cofidnece and great shot placement is all you need. I shoot and love to shoot rage broadheads. I just have so much cofidence in it. That is a great broadhead too. Here are some pics off google that show what that broadhead can do. Hope this helps.

Thanks hunters for the comments.I am shooting at 74 lbs with this new bow and 28 3/4 inch gold tip arrows also i didnt add that to the start which i should of.Huntfun 07 looks like Rage in the cage did a number on those deer.Will get me some and see how they fly also thanks (:
