How America's cities may explode in violence.
This IMO will play out in the near future...
Again, this is my opinion, but this country is so far divided once the fuse is lit it will get NASTY.

I am with bambi on this one. Civil war is ALWAYS horrible and in most cases NOBODY wins. Name one civil war where the citizens came away with more freedom and better government.
I still believe that there can be a political solution. Unfortunately it will require pain and cause pain. The looter class will have to be motivated by hard times. The coming inflation will provide that.
The apathy class is starting to come around as they loose jobs, have pay cuts, and start to realize that their paychecks aren't covering the bills anymore.
The table is being set, the populace is slowly becoming motivated. The question is which side will be ready and able to capture the motivation of the masses. The socialists, or the freedom loving conservative/libertarian/constitutionalist ?
When the pain and misery hits the tipping point, who will gather the support needed to take control?
If the socialists take control, I suspect there will be a very very dark period in our history indeed. Civil will likely will erupt.
If the conservative side takes control, there will still be trouble, but things will right themselves much quicker as the benefits of freedom flow back to the citizens.

Unfortunately, I see it the opposite of your analysis. If the socialists take control, 90% of the people in this country will bitch and moan but do nothing about it - can't appear to be "angry" or "racist" can we?
If the Conservative side takes control, I see civil war starting due to the actions of the takers and their cheerleaders, the (D)ependent party.

We're polarized beyond finding common political ground.
If the implementation of socialism continues taking place, whites will fire the first shots.
If conservatives take control and implement their plans, minorities will fire the first shots.

If it happens it will be the end of the country, it doesn't matter who fires first.
Too many other countries waiting to pounce that will back one side or the other, then take everything in the end.
It's already started. Even if a miracle happens and Romney wins, those on the Government Dole will eventually significantly outnumber those who are not. That will cause elections to mean nothing and the progressives will fear nothing. It may not be today, or next year, or 10 years from now but it's coming.
I worry desperately about my kids.

Exactly. The concert is over and all I hear is ringing in my ears. It was a good show while it lasted.
Europe is on the verge; Spain has a bank run in process as we speak, 40% of their money projected to be removed from the banks and removed from the country by the end of the year....Obomber is leading in the polls and Israel is chomping at the bit. Multiple country's are buying gold by the TON.
In the USA: 19% unemployment, 16 trillion dollars in debt, 120 trillion in unfunded liabilities. 47 million on food stamps. 50% of households with their hands out. An Anti-Colonial America hating Marxist in the White House and on the verge of being re-elected by delusional wannabe Socialists.
Most will sit around and wait, others will react and plan accordingly.
You want to take the pulse of this country? Go back to the link, click on it, and read some of the comments. As I said above, once the fuse is lit, it will get ugly. I am not advocating civil war. I do believe all of us will be thrust into it whether we like it or not. Once the bullets fly, race will be thrown into the equation. If you are white and living in a city you will be targeted. If you are a MUY wandering around in the country you will be targeted.
