There are casts/techniques that cannot be made with spinning gear that can be made with bc.
I haven't come across that situation yet.

You must not pitch jigs any.
Jigs and a wide variety of soft plastics.Pitching IMO is easier w/ spinning tackle than with baitcasting gear.Flipping is better done with a baitcaster.

I think you missed my point Jerry. It was a joke to point out a casting situation I have never encountered is a backlash with a spinning reel.
I fish both on 99 out of 100 trips.

No i got silverfox i was making a comment on backlashing baitcasters. LOL!...Actually when you use baitcasters long enough backlashes do become minimal.Like i said earlier once braid came along i went back to spinning tackle.The biggest reason i went to baitcasting was because you were able to use heavier line, back when we all used mono. You weren't able to use much more than 12lb. line on bass sized spinning tackle.
