Unfortunately. My my union hall is sticking with him but a lot of the members are against him and believe there's more to this election than jobs and money , our country as we know it hangs in the balances on this one.

I am certainly glad to hear that, but it would infuriate me to know that even one cent of my union dues was being contributed to his campaign to help re-elect him or his Democrat allies in Congress. I don't know how you deal with that.

I completely agree, Wildcat. Thankfully, the conservatives are motivated to get out and vote this time. Meanwhile, the one age group Obama won (18-29) in 2008 is anything but motivated about voting for him. A large portion of them have a serious hangover and buyer's remorse. He can't count on them like he did four years ago.

I'm not sure I agree. Obama will clearly, if given the chance, run us over the cliff. People will at least notice the one not braking while speeding towards the edge.

If Romney wins, he'll actually slow down as we approach the cliff. Little fear involved. But, the fall off the cliff will be no less deadly.

If the Republic somehow survives the fall (which I seriously doubt), I'd much rather it be pinned on the philosophical system that actually caused the problem; namely, liberalism.

So by what you just posted it looks like you are going to vote for Obama. that way we can hurry up and get there.

Respectfully I do not agree with this statement. To the contrary I believe the majority of the american people are hard working, common sense honest folk. We've made mistakes before but usually see the error of our ways.I pray to God that holds true this time.

It would help if the republican party could nominate someone that most conservatives can get behind. It's hard to get motivated for luke warm.Romney was probably the least conservative one in the primary. His vice pres has some fire in him but Mitt, not so mcuh.

They would nominate that person IF THAT PERSON RAN.

That's the problem, if Reagan never ran for president we would never have gotten him.

If Obama cannot get the conservatives motivated then it's the 2008 election all over again with an Obama win.

Why do you think across the web so many liberals have been showing so much support for Ron Paul??? They are NOT going to vote for him but they want certain conservatives to think they are and themselves write him in.

It's been said that in 2008 between 10 and 17 million conservatives did NOT vote.

Let's say Romney gets elected. Then what? Do you really think that a former MA governor will be hardcore enough to slash the Federal budge by the amount that is needed? No way! At best, the car slows down before going off the cliff. Maybe enough to setup post-fall plans that will fundamentally change America even as we know it now (which really sucks!).

It's the boiling a frog thing. I think the fast hard pain will be better. At least then, America has a chance to put back on its' big boy pants and rebuild.

Finally, the demonrats have continually put up more and more socialistic candidates. They play to win. We play to slow them down. In football vernacular, they are playing the West Coast Offense, we are always playing the Prevent. The only thing the prevent does is prevents you from winning. My point is that who ever the demonrats put up, it will always be the next satan-spawn. I'm tired of that being the reason I must hold my nose and vote for another RINO.

Will I vote for this satan-spawn? No. Will I vote? Don't know.

They say between 10 and 17 million conservatives did NOT vote in 2008. That allowed Obama to win easy.

If you want Obama to win again then by all means stay home and encoruge others to stay home too.
