Ive caught carp by accident a few times,the feeling was about the same as catching a huge turd to me,but have at it.

you must have snagged a buffalo or something, I have never had a carp fight like a huge turd, they always run out a lot of your line and try to get caught in sunken timber. I snagged a buffalo with a shad rap while trolling this summer. Thought that was kind of funny, and unlikely.

Ive caught carp by accident a few times,the feeling was about the same as catching a huge turd to me,but have at it.
If you are catching huge turds, I would look for some different water to fish. What were you using for bait?? Corn??

I not talking about how they fight,just the feeling of seeing that nasty thing,just like a huge turd.Cant remember ever fishing with corn btw,and as far as knowing how to fish with bait,Id say Im good at that,just never actually targeted a carp,cant imagine why anyone would when there are actual game fish to catch with bait like rockfish and blue cats,flatheads etc.
Oh yeah,I rarely fish with crank baits,maybe 10% of the time.

Keep in mind catman,Ive been fishing twice as long,at least as you have been alive,the only thing I would think you could teach me about fishing is something I dont care to know about.

I wouldn't argue with your bass fishing knowledge but me personally, I would hate to restrict my fishing to only one or two species. There are too many fish swimming in the water and a lot of them ae worth catching to me. I wouldn't be at all surprised if a carp is a smarter animal than a smallmouth bass.
