Another thread about quietening a bow reminded me of something..... I have always been a Cat Whisker fan... I can tie a really mean Set on a bow for about $1.00.... I also guarantee that they are nearly twice as good as the 10.00 leeches And jax... Anyway, I stopped by a local archery shop a few days ago to buy a couple sets of whiskers to put in my inventory & the guy who owns the place said they didnt carry Cat whiskers because they are obsolete.... Really? What the heck! Maybe its a marketing thing......

I hate to burst your bubble but cutting a cat's whiskers off just to silence a bow is a selfish move.
Okay, I know Im stupid but I actually thought it meant real cat whisker when I first heard of them.

The ones at walmart are no good..... There is a real difference in quality...... I have been ordering them from a guy on ebay... I get any color and they are thicker material..... Also straightness determines alot when you are tying one inch balls.... Okay, I feel better now....lol

The shop owner who says they are obsolete is not a good business man.
They work as well as anything and the cost is cheap.
He can buy a roll of it for 10 bucks.I used to sell em and install em for $6.Get at least 50 pair per roll.Thats pretty good margin if you ask me.
