They are great heads , and that is a Nice buck . I'm sure many bucks will fall with the Ulmer Edge with well placed shots , yet like any other broadhead , there will probably be a few hunters who make poor shots and blame it on the heads . That's why I don't spend too much time on AT .

Agreed. Regarding AT, there are a ton of knowledgeable people amongst the masses over there.
Have you been shooting with the actual heads a bunch? I'm curious to how the little wings and the set screw are holding up to shooting into a target. I'm tempted to buy a pack. The only thing holding me back is the Reapers are a three blade cut vs two blade but they are a jack knife expandable thus the smaller entry hole. The Ulmer looks to have a very low profile and should fly like a field point. I dont see pre mature deployment being an issue with the Ulmer.

No problem with the practice mode with the actual heads . They group with my field points , and are durable .

I might pick up a pack today. Archery Den has a couple packs that the ferrule is actually Lost Camo.

I picked up a pack and I really like the features and design of this head. I was lucky to get one of the packs with dull blades but I simply touched them up with a diamond stone and now they are sharp. Each head weighs exactly 98.8 grains on my scale. That's excellent consistency. I did talk to Zach at Trophy Taker cause there is a trick when reassembling the blades to get the blades to function properly and lock. This trick was not in the instructions. The set screw weighs 3 grains. So far they are dead on at 20 yards and blasting through my broadhead target. These will be in my quiver.

Cool , they are nice heads . I would recommend touching up the blades after practicing as well . If you look , the blade surface when closed is real close the outside edge of the ferrule and they could become a little dull with multiple shots .
