It's the real thing. Each pack comes with three set screws. You simply screw in the set screw into the head and the blades will not deploy. That's a great feature. The set screws on my scale weighed 3.1 grains each so no noticeable difference in POI.

Let me add in the pick of the broadhead above the practice mode set screw is in the head. It's the bottow screw.

They look to be decent build. I've just now opened my pack of them. As for the accuracy in shooting...maybe a longer stabilizer would help ya hit those dots instead of shooting next to them ;-) haha

My blades were dull but I used a diamond stone to touch them up. They are a single bevel blade so according to Trophy Taker single bevel blades don't "feel" sharp but I spoke to Zach at Trophy Taker today. They were definitely dull. They are fully aware that their blade supplier had some dull blades in the initial release but they have fixed the problem and they will send a new pack of heads if you have the problem. I declined since I simply sharpened them.
There is another issue Trophy Taker is having. According to TT the replacement blades will not fit in some heads cause the original heads are a different spec than the new blades. They are correcting this issue by sending out a new pack of heads.
Yes these are issues but I think they are "growing pains". This head looks to be a winner.
