Lots of good info.

I wouldn't spend $1 on Poast anymore though. Clethodim is way better and cheaper to boot. Poast never even seemed to hurt the fescue and johnson grass and I tried to mix it every way possible.

Clethodim has successfully killed it all this summer with two applications. Except for a few broadleaf plants that cutting took care of, my clover is weed/grass free.

Same here on the Cleth. We sprayed Clethodim two weeks ago on some 4'tall Johnson Grass that is now dead.

I noticed it is a slower killer than most herbecides (at least my experience this year) but as you said, within 2 weeks all grasses is dead. I to sprayed some 3-4ft Johnson grass and let it die then cut it last week.

Fescue is my main problem but I think I've got it now although I'm sure I'll be fighting it for years. At least now I can kill it in my clover.

When sparying on established clover does the Clethodim hurt the clover in anyway?

How many oz per gallon of watter do you use. By sprayer is 15 gallon

3-6 ounces per gallon of water plus 1-2 ounces of crop oil (surfactant) per gallon of solution.

spraying is not as simple as this. you must also know gallons of carrier applied per acre. only then can you figure how may ounces to use per gallon of water. anything else is trial and error, which can work too.

Most 15-25 gallon sprayers are calibrated for my earlier recommendations.
