Your #1 isn't going to get any better, likely worse.
Your other two just flat don't work in politics. There's always something AND someone for sale. Sad, but true.
The only thing that frustrates me more than politics is women.

I didn't say your thoughts were wrong either. Those would be good places to start. They're as good as anyone's. Romney, who actually has a successful business background, could be added to the list.

I am not going to tell you which politicians or political party you should support, but I will tell you that you have no business voting for a Democrat for President, US Senator or US Representative because they would disagree with you on all 3 of the things that you mentioned.

#1. Go back to a constitutionally limited Federal Government. That means cutting federal spending by 50% per year until the debt is paid off.

#1. Go back to the way the federal government was originally designed. The government HAS TO BE reduced substantially to ever have a chance of getting out of debt and back on track.

Getting back to a balanced budget first, then start the slashing. Give the takers a year to get their affairs in order because I'm a compassionate kind of conservative.

Dissolve the union and set up a confederal system. The union may do us a favor and dissolve itself in the near future!

let me start out by saying I am in no way a political fanatic in fact i cringe at the the word politics but I am starting to take more of an interest and learn what I can. I just finished reading a little article about Hank jr and the comments he made at a concert on sunday night we have a muslim for president and he hates....... and then I read the almost endless threads of comments, some I laughed at, some I almost let upset me, and some I just shook my head at. So I got to thinking...what is it gonna take to get this country back on track?? Im interested in your thoughts. So give me your top three things that need to change to get America back to thriving... my three are 1) Bring God back into America (somehow He got kicked out) 2) stop the abuse of the system (from welfare recipients to politicians selling their souls to lobbyists) 3) stop all this political correctness (it doesnt hurt to stomp on a few toes) i realize economy, jobs, and the like are tops as well but I think it has to go back to fundamentals.. jmho
Looks like #1 is out for the Dems!
http://blogs.cbn.com/thebrodyfile/archive/2012/09/04/democrats-drop-god-from-party-platform.aspx
Guess what? God’s name has been removed from the Democratic National Committee platform. This is the paragraph that was in the 2008 platform: “We need a government that stands up for the hopes, values, and interests of working people, and gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.” Now the words “God-given” have been removed. The paragraph has been restructured to say this: “We gather to reclaim the basic bargain that built the largest middle class and the most prosperous nation on Earth – the simple principle that in America, hard work should pay off, responsibility should be rewarded, and each one of us should be able to go as far as our talent and drive take us.”

I find it criminal that the democrats even mention all the "should's" given the ease in which they give money away to people that have been taught that they don't have to work for it. That is the most disingenuous statement associated with the democrats I've read in recent memory. And to think they had the nerve to call Romney or Ryan liars.

Past the turning point, it will take chaos/collapse to awaken the masses.

1. Put GOD back in our lives, goverment and schools. 2. Follow the constitution 3. Welfare system needs a serious overhaul
We have soliders that are in foreclosure while our government rewards lazy people with welfare. Yes..some people do need/deserve it, but Im speaking of the lazy A$$ people who are still in bed that are able bodied and could work.

Then all other things will fall into place. Ever notice that, the further we get from God, the worse we become?
