Since it's bird season, figured I would throw this one out there, works with quail or dove.
Pound out a deboned bird. For every two pounded birds, puree one deboned breast. Add to puree fresh jalapeno, salt, and pepper. Put mix into pounded bird, roll up, dredge in egg and flour and fry. Great poppers.
Can also stuff a quail breast with grits, smoked cheddar, and cayenne and pan fry.

Um, I think he was using a pureed dove, not mouse.
