Here's my own 45/70 conversion, an Encore Pro-Hunter, this is the one the kids shoot.....





Then I've got the two Remington 700ML smokeless .45 conversions...."Ug" and "Envy"..........

No one has a replica blackpowder rifle to show? Where are those sleek Kentucky style rifles or stocky Hawkens.

Hawken style fullstock that I've retired. Nothing wrong with it at all and could still take her out hunting with confidence. I scatch built this gun from parts way back in the middle 70s. The stock started out as plank of curly maple. About 90% of the build was with hand tools.



This old photo is me and the same rifle. I killed that buck on Thanksgiving Day in 1978. If I remember correctly, Tennessee didn't have a muzzle loading season in place then. Oh yes...that euro mount in the first pic is from the deer below.

Some of my blackpowder firearms...top is the .50 Lyman GPR...middle one is the .54 Pedersoli Rocky Mountain Hawken and bottom is my little .40 flintlock longrifle.
