Any ideas what it would cost to rebuild 450 Yamaha Rhino engine. Needs either rod or crank bearings, not sure which.

best thing i can tell you is to go on ebay and get your parts and do the rebuild your self.
trust me i know they will ripp you a new one at the dealer ship

444marlin rolled his honda 450 we had Richie power sports replace the timing chain and tensioner, lifter, and hone the cylinder and install new piston rings, cost 710.00.

I have a grizz and compared to working on a car/truck these things are tinker toys. I wouldn't go cheap on the parts if your tearing it down, but dh1984 is dead on, the dealership will rip you big time. Insane what they charge for things like rear brake pads, as much or more than a car/truck and not much bigger than a silver dollar. I'd buy from an online after market dealer, some on ebay. Good parts, 500 or less.
Like to rebuild mine some day and plan on doing it up right so I never have to do it again.
