I'm still in search of my new bow since I'm just getting into archery. My draw length is 31". A guy is trying to sell me a 2011 PSE Vendetta XL that he says goes up to 32". He also says the bow has 70 lb axe limbs which he says makes it max out at 56 lb. Not sure if that is a good thing or bad? He wants $450 for the bare bow. What do ya'll think?

I wouldn't buy a bow that has limbs made for another model . Limbs have a specifically designed deflection for each model . The price is a little high too .

Pse's are designed to change parts around. It happens all the time. For instance the bowmadness xl and the supra have the exact same riser and limb pockets just different limbs and cams.

The Vendetta XL does go out to 32 inch draw length. I know the limb exchange has been done many times on that bow but I have personally not worked with one yet. I would have thought max poundage to be a little higher in the mid to low 60's. If you don't wanna pull over 55-60 pounds I would ask for $325-$350 and take it home. Not over about $375-400. Go to archerytalk.com/vb and do a search on vendetta xl with axe limbs. That should turn up several results.

I bought it, the bow looks like new with custom strings on it. I had the pro shop here fit it a Trophy Ridge Outlaw rest, whisker biscuit, G5 Head-Loc quiver, Tru-Fire Extreme Hybrid adjustable release and Easton St Axcel 340 arrows. The arrows may get changed today because another guy claims that I need 400s instead of the 340s.

What is your draw length set at and how long are you cutting your arrows? That sounds right. You should be ok with 400's at a 30 or 31 inch arrow to 60-62 pounds if i remember correctly.

My arrows are cut at 30 inch. I ended up getting the Easton Bloodline 400's
