Only for migratory birds and waterfowl. Limited to 3 total, one in chamber and 2 in magazine.

Yeah that's all I knew was for migratory bird hunting, I guess I should have put for a rifle while deer hunting, thanks for the reply.

No problem SS. There is no restriction on mag capacity for deer hunting in TN. BTW, I am not TWRA, maybe they will be along shortly.

I'm not TWRA, but TW gave you the correct answer.
This subject comes up 3 or 4 times each year; do a search and you'll probably find where TWRA has answered it ad nauseum.

That is new for me this is my first year and assumed it was a limit like other states. So we could have a 20 rd clip in. dont know why you would though

Sorry to "nauseate" you bman, but I did search this subject and came up with nothing. Maybe next time you get to feeling sick to your stomach you could take some pepto and just let Twra answer the post like I stated.

I could post a response that would make you sick with its simple truth.
I could also post a link to scn's answer LAST September, the 3rd item that was returned when searching tndeer, and how a 12-year member should know how to use the search feature.
