I am purchasing a crossbow tomorrow and looking for somewhere to shoot this week and next week . Does anyone know where I could go to shoot field points and broadheads? I will he a target next year but I'm on a budget right now

There are three I know of around here. One is in Alcoa headed from Maryville toward Lenoir City on the right just before Ritchie Tractor. Another is in Seymour just off Chapman Highway going toward sevierville. The last is smoky mountain archery and it's just outside Seymour.

I didn't have a target . But I fixed that problem with a homemade target ;\)

If I'm not mistaken, I think that the shooting range on Rifle Range Rd near Fountain City has an archery range now.

That's what I used to think a couple of years ago when I shot my compound in my subdivision. I had a release "malfunction" and sent an arrow at about a 65 degree angle a couple hundred yards across a state highway and into another neighborhood. I didn't see anything in the local paper about it the next day, but I don't shoot my bow in my yard anymore.
