Got checked yesterday on private land. We are only a mile from his house and I was expecting him there anyway. Hes a good guy.

If ya think about it most peope in that line of work has been exposed to every shuck & jive routine out ther, the probably pay as much attention to someones subcontious body language as what they say.
When deal'n with the authorities, common sense tells you not to get smart & if ya get too friendly they mite think you have something to hide, besides you never know the situation they just left, I keep it cordual but businesslike unless they start some small talk.

Your actually right. Back in the day I would have never let anyone sneak up on me. Took me 8 years to finally let my guard down in public and let someone walk up behind me.
