Some rain is starting to move in to south west TN and some southern TN counties. This should be good for those of us who planted plots already. Hopefully we will get a few showers spread over a couple of days.

SO glad we got all of our plots totalling 15 acres in this past Sunday!!! Bring it on! Ill be sitting back watching it rain, as well as watching Vandy and Titans whoop up on their opponents and waiting for the long weekend to get here.

FWIW, the radar is showing rain here in SW TN, but we aren't getting anything but 15-20 mph winds at this point with heavily overcast skies. The clouds are circling from the southeast so it should not be too long before be get some precipitation. I am keeping my fingers crossed as we so desperately need it.

I have only managed to get a tenth here at the house thus far. Hopefully the line of rain coming across eastern Arkansas right now will not breakup before it gets to me. You just never know what it will do when it crosses the MS River. I've seen a many a good storms be reduced to nothing as it crossed the river over the years.

The storm that just blew through produced three tenths in my gauge. Since 10 PM last night I have managed eight tenths total in my gauge for a grand total of nine tenths from Isaac. While it is a far cry from the 3-4" initially forecasted, my yard has to be loving every bit it can get. I hope it stays together as it moves eastward across the state so some of you others, especially those with seed on the ground, can benefit from it as well.

It rained cats and dogs at my place off and on Saturday afternoon, Saturday night, and during the day Sunday. Probably around 3 inches. In fact, at one point, it rained harder than I think I've ever seen rain fall from the sky. Visibility was down to about 30 yards.
