All you need is a piece of allthread, some lock washers, and wing nuts. Camera is optional Beats paying $50.00 for a store bought one. Just thought I would share my southern-engineering with yall.
It picks up every tiny noise but I dont really care. I'm just interested in the picture.

I used electrical tape to mount my Contour camera to my 30-06 last year... so I appreciate the ingenuity here, lol.
How did you attach it to the camera itself?
I have a spare snap on case for my Samsung Galaxy SII... I figure I could use some epoxy and some rubber and mount it similar to this one.

Have you shot it yet and does it tak video? Just wondering if you taped a shot and how shaky it was? Will the camera take the shock?

Imthere, at the bottom of my original post are videos of my test shots. Just click the bottom two pictures and it should load the video.
DRM, My camera has threads for a bipod, so I just found a piece of all thread that fit the threads on my camera. I just twisted it on as far as I could and have the camera face the right direction. After that I just tightened a wing nut against the camera to keep it from coming loose.

...btw, I did not zoom in any of these videos. I need to test it with zoom to see if it helps show shot placement. I just wonder if the vibration will mess the picture up that much more with the zoom.

That looks easy enough. I might have to try to make one of those.
