Has anyone had experience shooting this broadhead from their crossbow? Will this head open prematurely before striking the target? I just finished watching this weeks Wild Outdoor tv show with Jay Gregory and he showed a buck shot with this broadhead that had a huge hole. He really praised this head. Any help would be appreciated.

Personally, I don't like mechanicals. I shoot the Muzzy 100 gr. 4 blade.

I havent heard anything about them from a crossbow or any other bow. Ive heard great stories about the massive wound holes that are made from such kind of heads. Ive also heard how many hunters slice a hole through both lungs with a fixed blade for several years and seems to produce the same results. A person sure cant blame you for trying them. Ive heard the best results from others that NAP Spitfire expandable are the most reliable from a crossbow. Good luck.
