The slaughter continues unabated.
"A rogue Afghan soldier shot dead two U.S. troops in east Afghanistan on Monday, the NATO-led coalition said, the latest in a series of insider killings that have strained trust between the allies ahead of a 2014 pullout by foreign combat troops....."

I'm beginning to wonder if the only people that care about this post on this board. I've heard no talk of these KIA murders on the radio or tv.

Andy, I think a good % of America cares.... They just don't know.
Our MSM makes sure of that. Thank god for the alternate media. At least a few people know what is really going on.

Andy,
I care! It's time we get our boys the hell out of there, and let the natural process of swamp refilling just happen. These people do not possess a world view that would support democracy. Their world view of Islam is counter to everything democracy represents. If their people want it, they have to stand up for it, we cannot fight for them what must come from within them.

I respectfully disagree. America lost interest in the war and the well-being of those fighting it a very long time ago.

Most Americans only care about themselves. If you don't have something of value to them, they don't' care one BIT about your well being.

KABUL, Afghanistan -- A gunman in an Afghan army uniform killed three Western troops Wednesday, the NATO force said. That brought the number of “insider” shooting deaths in August to 15, the most in a single month since the start of the war nearly 11 years ago.
Western military officials said in a statement early Thursday that the shooting took place in southern Afghanistan but offered no other details, including the nationalities of those killed ...

No surprise here. The slaughter continues. Another high-ranking U.S. commander stated earlier this week that it's our fault.
"...“that the closer you partner with your Afghan guys—the better you understand each other—the safer you’re going to be,” said Command Sgt. Maj. William Johnson of the International Security Assistance Force Joint Command. "It’s the guys having friction [with the Afghans] or who are not partnering as well as [they] should, where I think we’re having some of the issues,” Johnson said...."
