Never would have thought that possible with a production air gun.
Impressive.

I've been eyeball'n the PCP airguns for a couple years now & the maruader is on the short list, a good air rifle could open up some good hunting turf.

Question...just how loud is it compared to a .22 ??

And...just how much work is the pump ?? ( A tank would be great but the only place to charge a tank is at least 60 miles away, so a pump would be a plus for me)

Opening a can of coke is 10x louder than my marauder in .22

As for pumping from empty it can be a chore. topping off is not that hard.

Trealtree is right on target. I think that him and I got our Marauder 22 cals close to when they were first released. he knows his stuff when it comes to them. In my 25 cal, and not totally unlike the 22, I shoot the pressure from 3000 psi to 2000psi. It takes me about 60 stokes to top it back off to 3000. When I go to the woods, I leave the pump at foot pump at home. I can kill enough squirrels on one filling....or I need to learn how to shoot. These rifles are phenominal. And the REAL plus side is how quiet they are. You can shoot them in your backyard without drawing negative attention. And in the woods, the report doesn't make to entire woods go quiet. I love mine.
