Not sure if this is within forum rules, just wanted to give members a heads up on a tournament this Nov. The proceeds go to the family of John Allen, for medical bills. John, who grew up in Cookeville, but resided in Murfreesboro was tragically killed in May as he was swimming in the ocean. He spent a week in ICU before he was called home. John was the consummate outdoorsman, who loved to both fish and hunt. If you spend any time on either Percy Priest or Center Hill, you have likely ran into him. The tournament is at Center Hill, Ragland bottom. Thanks for looking.

Is the money guaranteed or dependent on the number of boats? It could be hard drawing boats since it is on the first day of muzzleloader. Otherwise, it looks pretty good.

The money is gauranteed, regardless of number of boats. I agree its not the best date, but its for a good cause. Thanks

Hopefully, you will get enough boats to make it worthwhile. The key is to keep advertising. I saw the flyers on the vehicles at Ragland Bottom this weekend.
