1) I did notice how Ron Paul didn't get his vote total announced on the podium - not that it mattered in the end.
2) Iowa, I believe, had more delegates for Paul than Romney
3) VERY impressed with Utah's Mia Love
4) EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH TED CRUZ from TX!!! No visible teleprompter - and not even a podium to boot!
5) Tried to watch CNN - but that proved futile...FOX was a little better, but I wanted to hear what the speakers said - not just a commentator's opinon of what was said....
So, I just clicked it to CSPAN and watched every speech. Gonna do that again tonight too.
...So, I just loved former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis' speech, although it and all other minority speakers were cut from MSNBC

His official delegate count will be around 190; however, in an effort to give the appearance of GOP unity they [the GOP leadership] changed the rules at the end instead of letting the process play out as it was written.
As the roll call of states commenced, several states listed votes for both Romney and Paul. When repeating back the count, those at the podium cited only the Romney votes.
http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-...0,3246451.story
As the New York Times wrote yesterday,
Delegates from Nevada tried to nominate Mr. Paul from the floor, submitting petitions from their own state as well as Minnesota, Maine, Iowa, Oregon, Alaska and the Virgin Islands. That should have done the trick: Rules require signatures from just five states. But the party changed the rules on the spot. Henceforth, delegates must gather petitions from eight states.

THAT'S why when one state's spokesperson - I can't remember which one of the 57 states it was - said something to the effect of 'where we count delegates based upon the prior agreed up rules' or something.

"MSNBC hates black people and hispanics. That is why none work at MSNBC and they even refuse to show them give speeches"
Why can't the GOP play THAT game?
