Good work!
Do you normally kill more travelers than cutters during the early season?
Seems I take more cutters (early season), but may just be my hunting style, which is in part a preference to shoot them cutting.

depends on the block i am hunting. in mixed forests, where there are few target trees it tends to be travelors. the block i am going tomorrow will most likely be cutters.

Do you have any "secrets" for getting ahead of the "travelers" you encounter?
Seems I often spook the travelers trying to get in front of their line of travel, or in trying to catch up with them.
