Can the 012 Apprentice Hunting License be used with 086 Nonresident Annual Junior Hunt?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, as a one year exemption from the hunter education requirements. All other licenses/permits are still required.

I'm new to the whole "Apprentice License" thing. Is that a one-year grace period for a new hunter to be able to hunt with a "supervisor" while he's not in possession of a Hunters Ed card?

SCN, can you please clarify something?

Does the validity of a 012 permit purchased during the 2011-2012 season expire at the end of February 2012, or is it good 1 year from date of purchase?

Yes. It allows someone who is not hunter safety certified as required by law to purchase the license and hunt for one year from the date of purchase. They must be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age or older who is hunter safety certified or exempt who must remain in positon to take immediate control of the apprentice's hunting weapon at all times.
