My nephew will be coming in from AZ to hunt with me for this years juvenile deer hunt in October. He has never been hunting and his mom has been unable to get him to a hunter safety course this year (dad recently passed away). Will he be able to use the TN Apprentice Permit for the hunt or is he ineligible because he is coming from out of state?
ETA: I forgot to add, he's 12.

He is eligible for the Apprentice License. It is good for one year from date of purchase and may not be purchased again.

Thanks for the reply. He'll be getting his hunter safety card, he just doesn't have time to obtain it between now and the end of October.
