I just ordered 2 packs to try this season . I like the design better than Rage heads . I also use fixed blade heads , but thought I would give these a try . Trophy Taker is producing them .

Check the blades when you get them. Their initial release to the market a couple months ago had a bunch of "butter knife" dull blades. Trophy Taker is aware of the problem and the blade factory made the mistake. If they come in dull Trophy Taker will swap them out.

Let me add they are a good design and they were one of the top performers on a broadhead test over on Archery Talk.

Yeah , I have read up on that and watched the video on YouTube on testing blade sharpness with the single bevel blade . I'll do my own testing like I do with all of my equipment and come to my own conclusion on blade sharpness , durability , accuracy , etc.

I bought a pack at the shop the other day. Ain't even had the time to open them yet. I was there when the UPS driver brought his first shipment of them in and he opened them out of the box.

I like that you can practice with the hunting head and also the blade is sharp on the front and back.
There have been a few negative reviews on durability ie blades bending on live game (hogs and even a Canadian Goose but I will wait for the 2012 deer season reviews to come in. The Ulmer Edge could be a winner cause it has many features I prefer over the Rage.

I'll be curious to hear how the set screw works for practicing with them. Keep us updated. I almost picked up some, but I still have plenty of what i am currently using.
