My uncle ALWAYS has doves, and usually hundreds of them by this time every year. He has wheat, millet, sunflower and some corn. This year he doesn't have hardly anything. Is anyone else seeing the same thing? You can PM me if you want to remain anonymous. I'm just trying to figure out if it is the cold fronts, weather in general, or if the birds just aren't moving down from the north yet. This hurrican Isaac probably won't help any this coming weekend either.

There is a private field down from my house that is loaded with doves every day and a pay fieldi checked on last week was full of them as well both are in blount county, i went to a field we shot last year and it had some thursday butthe farmer is currently tilling and sowing wheat also so it may get better.

Yea we got doves, with about the same mix as you. My hope is Hurricane I will move more in and not blow them out.

had over 300 sitting on my field at 10 this morning, probaly another 200 on the powerline above it.
