My current rest's launcher arm broke and when I went to replace it the screws were soft metal and rounded out. This company is not even open on Fridays so I'm going to change brands.
I'm thinking of the QAD HX rest. I like that it has a stop function and seems to be of good quality. Anyone else using this rest?

Just go with a whisker biscuit UTG. It's plenty accurate enough and fail proof!

UTG, have you looked at, or considered switching to a Ripcord?

I have looked at the Rip Cord before as well.

I have the QAD Ultrarest HDX, but I am a beginner archer and this is my first bow so I have nothing to compare it to. All I can tell you is that it's quiet, easy to use, holds my arrows really good, and helps me put a lot of arrows on target. My pro shop technician told me that over 50% of the hunting bows they sell these days leave their shop with the QAD HDX. I didn't have time to research it, so I told them to put one on mine too. It's working really good for me, but like I said I have nothing to compare it to.

Dude, Come over my house and you can shoot mine or Christopher's bows. We both have the QAD rests on our bows and have for well over a year. Might as well test something to see if you like it before you spend the money on it.
BTW I love my QAD rest!
