The Old Fashioneds came out really well.

Two shots of the pecan bourbon
dash of bitter
bit of simple syrup
splash of water
maraschino cherry, orange wedge and 1 of the pecans

They had a really nutty flavor, but I was surprised how much the cayenne pepper came through for a spicy overtone. We drank the bottle, but had quite a few of the pecans left over. They did seem devoid of most of their oil, so I don't think candying them would be a good idea. I think they might fall apart if you did that. I was thinking of crushing them and using them on pancakes or something like that since they are a kind od mushy.

Throw a couple of the mushy pecans on the cookie sheet and toast em again. Might crisp them up a bit and be good.
