My wife's uncle owns a nursery and has a permit to get rid of the deer. He wants me on the list of people who can kill deer .
Where can I read all the rules and laws about this. I want to do it, but don't want to break any laws by being ignorant. He says if I am on the list for his permit, I can kill any deer at any time, with any weapon I please. I'm not all into that. I just want to put some meat in the freezer.

It depends on the terms of the permit. I'd advise checking with the wildlife officer that issued the permit to make sure of the conditions before assisting.

I had one last year for a friend's YARD! The deer were eating all of her expensive landscaping. I just read the permit and followed the rules.
I did follow the regular rules though only hunting during the appropriate seasons, but that was because I was hunting with those weapons at the time.
All the meat I got was donated to needy families. That was pretty cool to help some folks with all those extra deer. There were a BUNCH of deer in that small area. Most of the mornings I had to watch from hitting them with the car!
